News: Tip Test Results

Onegai-shimasu Hanshi, Kyoshi, Sensei, Sempai and fellow Deshi,

I am pleased to announce the results of the Boston club's tip test, held this past Sunday. Congratulations to On Lai who was promoted to Rokyu.

Domo arigato gozaimasu to Sensei Dan Gobillot from Northampton who honored us by leading the test and gave all of the Boston deshi extra sugar during the work out.

Domo arigato gozaimasu to all of the Northampton deshi who honored us by making the trip and helped make the event so special: Ms. Jean Gobillot, Mr. Steve Parsons and Ms. Cathie Parsons who acted as the board of judges; Mr. Christopher Gobillot and Mr. Lou Ruvolo who gave everyone on the deck a boost with their strong spirit; and Tom Marcus, Tracy Morgan and Derrek Marcus who also showed their strong spirit on the deck.

I also want to acknowledge the Boston deshi who, as is proper, added their spirit and sweat to the event even though they were not testing: Keith Burrows, Kevin Neal and Sean Jones.

We look forward to sharing the spirit of more great USRKUSA events with other dojo later this year and beyond.
